when I was a little girl, my mom would tell me stories of Korean folklore like they were fairytales, and to me, they were.

I wanted to tell this tragic story of a fox’s unrequited love towards a tiger. This was a creative folklore explaining why sun showers occurred before the scientific advances of society.

The illustrative graphics were inspired by the Ten Symbols of Longevity, a painting by an unknown artist from Korea in the 19th century.
